Len and Edna looked after me during my final year at university. We kept in touch over the following 52 years. She was a wonderful person and I developed a strong affection for her. It has been a privilege to know Edna, she was simply one of life's good people. She was extremely modest and thought of others above herself. She certainly left her imprint on me and, I imagine, many others. A true superstar.
